As-salāmu ʿalaykum dear community,
Al-ḥamdu lillāh. The moon has been sighted in Afghanistan, Yemen, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and other countries.
Please note that tonight (February 17, 2026) we will pray Tarāwīḥ, and tomorrow (February 18, 2026) will be the first day of Ramaḍān, in shāʾ Allāh.
اَللّٰهُمَّ سَلِّمْنِي لِرَمَضَانَ وَسَلِّمْ رَمَضَانَ لِي وَتَسَلَّمْهُ مِنِّي مُتَقَبَّلًا
Allāhumma sallimnī li-Ramaḍān, wa sallim Ramaḍāna lī, wa tasallamhu minnī mutaqabbalan.
“O Allāh! Preserve me for Ramaḍān, preserve Ramaḍān for me, and accept it from me.” (Kitāb al-Duʿāʾ of Imām al-Ṭabarānī, Ḥadīth: 912)
Ramaḍān Mubārak!
